High rope course in South Tyrol - a thrill between tree tops

In the Tauferer Ahrntal/Valli di Tures ed Aurina, amidst an age-old tree population, there is the newest and most modern high rope course in all of South Tyrol

Swinging from tree to tree is great fun. What Tarzan discovered at an early age has become a popular leisure time activity for old and young. Children and adults alike enjoy the fun and the thrill of it. Steinhaus/Cadipietra in the Ahrntal/Valle Aurina, facing the majestic mountains of the Zillertal Alps, now offers a unique, fantastic high rope course. The facility "Enzwaldile", which translates as 'small forest of the Ents', in Steinhaus/Cadipietra, is the newest and most modern of its kind in South Tyrol. Highly modern safety devices by Edelried guarantee your safety. These devices are conceptualised in a way to make sure that climbers are secured at all times. Whenever a karabiners is unhooked, another one automatically hooks in. The Enzwaldile offers more than 5 kilometres of ropes connecting 111 age-old spruces and larches in what looks like a gigantic and densely interweaved spider's web. 80 elements and platforms on nine main routes pose challenges at all levels. There are 18 aerial ropeways and zip-lines, there is a base jump, and twice a mountain stream needs to be crossed. Currently we are working on a mini flying fox course for children. No matter whether for children or adults, school classes, employees, managerial staff, or clients of companies, for clubs, associations or organisations - our high rope course Enzwaldile in the Ahrntal/Valle Aurina offers adventure and fun to everyone. At the same time, the programme is about borderline experiences, risk-taking, self-motivation, group dynamics, mutual support and understanding. The single courses can be taken independently or under guidance. They can be combined with near-ground team training activities, cooperative adventure games and interactive exercises.

The actual flyer 2016 you can find here.

Team training on a high rope course

Whole day
Get rid of your dog-eat-dog philosophy and ready for togetherness. Our adventure programme aims at enhancing students' ability to work in a team, their helpfulness and mutual consideration. The high rope course invites students on an adventure, and the tasks which need to be accomplished require them to work together, communicate, and trust each other. Only teams as thick as thieves will be able to achieve their goal.

This extraordinary triathlon is not only an adventurous sports challenge - it also allows your students to dive into the exciting history of the Dark Ages. The best part, however, is the rappelling manoeuvre down from the tower - dizzying but absolutely safe! Going for a walk is not particularly difficult; we all know how to take a stroll. Finding one's way, locating things, and orientating oneself however poses some difficulties to most people. Well-equipped with GPS and maps, your students will start off into nature in small groups. Who will take on responsibility for what? Who will assert himself/herself and take over the group? Who will be able to do best, and which team will be able to cross the finish line first?

Aerial runway, building a zip line

Aerial runway, building a zip line

Half-day event
There is not always a bridge when we need to get to the other side. So we build one to cross a gorge. Or we build an aerial runway. For this project, creativity, resourcefulness and, most of all, teamwork are required. Without these skills, succeeding is impossible. In the end, there will be only one question left: Who's going first?
